Easy Peasy Chicken N Dumplings
6 servings
3 tubes croissant rolls
1 small rotisserie chicken, skin discarded and meat removed from bones
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup chicken broth
salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 400ยบ. Roll out the cans of croissant sheets and separate into diamond shaped sections. Place a small handful of rotisserie chicken on each diamond, fold dough over and press ends together to create dumplings. Line a 9x13 inch baking dish with one layer of dumplings. Combine soups and chicken broth; pour over dumplings. Season with salt and pepper and bake until the dumplings are tender and cooked through and the top is brown and bubbly - about 30 minutes. (I laid foil across my pan about halfway though, because the dumplings were browning too quickly.)
OH MY GOODNESS IS THIS EVER GOOOOOOOD!

Photo Soaps

Is this not just the cutest soap project I found on paddywaks...
Supplies:
White Bars of Soap
Stickers or Photo Copies
Household Paraffin Wax
Double Boiler (or electric wok)
Tin Pie Pan
Water
Tongs
Sharp Knife
Glue Stick
Steps:
1. Unwrap soap and carefully carve off the brand name with a sharp knife.
2. Apply stickers or photo copies with glue stick.
3. Place tin pie pan in wok. Lay 2 chunks of paraffin wax in the pie pan. Pour water into the wok just until the pie pan floats above the bottom of the pan. Heat the wok on LOW and as soon as the wax melts, turn the heat off. (Never leave unattended.)
4. Grab the sides of the soap with tongs and dip face down into the wok, about 1/4 of an inch. Repeat a couple of times for a smooth surface. Lay soap aside until the wax becomes firm.
Pattiewack Pointer:
Everyone will love to get a set of soaps with their photo on the front, or with cute Christmas stickers, and then placed into matching pillow boxes. These snazzy soaps are the perfect stocking stuffer, and are great for a quick craft that says, “I made it myself!”

A quiet somewhat lazy Sunday...
Got up this morning went to breakfast and to walmart with hubby, it was a beautiful
day in Indy today the temp was in the mid 50's then once back home did some light
house cleaning and put groceries away... then read the paper surfed the net and read
emails... took a nap then went to a local Deli for a late lunch/dinner. Now
I'm in my pjs relaxing in front of the tv dreading Monday...
Yesterday along with my older brother we joined ancestory.com and started looking
for our past relatives and found so many wonderful pieces to our puzzle... I've
become totally addicted to doing heritage digital scrapbooking and now I have the
genealogy bug too... This could become an expensive hobby...Until next time

Cinnabun Mixens Recipe (saltdough)

CinnaBuns Mixens
2 cups All Purpose Flour
1 cup regular Table Salt
1 cup water
Ground Cinnamon
Wax Paper
Aluminum Foil
Measuring Cup
Mixing Bowl
Cookie Sheet
This recipe will make 40 to 50 - 1" mini cinni buns. Cut recipe in half if smaller amount is desired. Working with salt dough dries your hands, so either keep hands rinsed frequently or wear gloves. Start by mixing flour and salt together in large mixing bowl, slowly adding water and stirring well. After mix is blended, knead dough with hands for 2-3 minutes and form into a ball. Spread 2 - 18" pieces of wax paper on your work area, over lapping them about 2" lengthwise. Sprinkle lightly with the ground cinnamon in one area of the paper. Keep cinnamon handy as you will sprinkle more later. Next, start pinching off enough dough to make a 1" ball. Roll in palm of hands to form a nice ball and set aside on a clean area of your wax paper. Work with your dough making the balls quickly so the dough doesn't start to dry. Taking a ball in the palms of your hands, start rolling forward and backwards to form a long strip of dough. The dough strips should be about 1/2" in diameter and at least the length of the width of your palm. I like to make mine a little longer, about 4" to 5" long. Set the strip aside in another clear area of your wax paper. After all strips are formed, line your cookie sheet with the foil. Preheat oven to 250 degree. Take a strip of dough and gently roll it in the sprinkled cinnamon on your wax paper. Make sure it keeps it's rounded shape. Starting with larger end of salt dough strip, roll strip into a mini cinni bun. Press the smaller end slightly into the strip so that it stays closed. Place the mini cinni bun on the cookie sheet. When all mini cinni buns are rolled place cookie sheet in oven leaving door ajar. Dough drying times vary depending on ovens and altitudes, but should be dry in about an hour. Turn buns every 2-3 minutes for the first 30 minutes, then every 3-5 till dry. When buns are dry they will be very hard and will turn a lighter color. Always make sure your salt dough creations are dry before before doing any wax dipping or painting, else they can grow mold! If ever in doubt, give more drying time in your oven or more air drying time. It's faster to dry your creations in the oven but if they try to curl or bubble, lower heat and turn more frequently, but ALWAYS leave the door ajar! The thicker your creation the more drying time it will require with either method.
