News and Happenings

Well for some reason this year I just never quite could get into the Holiday Spirit and Christmas is my favorite Holiday but this year just wasn't feeling it I was very bah hum bug this year, then 2 days before Christmas My Cousin Barbara Ann and her 18 year old son CJ who live in Tennessee were driving home from a drs appt when something went terribly wrong and she swerved to the right and hit a tree head on, there were airlifted to the larger hospital in Nashville, and both had injuries that were just beyond repair and they both died my family have all had very heavy hearts since then and Christmas was just no longer a top priority, Barbara was a few years older than me and was always a favorite of mine she could make you laugh and almost nothing her laugh was contagious and her smile made you feel welcome and comfortable
she was amazing and had hundreds of people attend the showing and funeral as proof
of her amazing personality she was just so loveable I will miss her beyond words.

And on to other heartbreaking news: I have decided to close down my website http:aprimitivejourney.com I have had it since 2005 and I had put everything I
had into that site but slow economy has taken its toll and I can no longer bear
the struggle of maintaining it, needless to say this has been another burden to
bear this Holiday Season which brought me to the decision to just give it up and
close it and I sure will miss my baby... Until next time Happy New Year to all!

So sorry to hear about your loss, Diane. That is never easy and just at Christmas makes it somehow feel even worse. I lost my sister Dec. 26 5 years ago now, it always dampens the holiday. It is too bad that you have to close your web site, however you can still use your blog?? This economy has really hit everyone hard. Keep smiling, brighter days are ahead. Happy New Year to you and your family. ~ Nancy

For you shop, it had to be such a difficult decision, you know what's best so know in your heart, even though hard, you are doing what's right and best for you.

Diane, it's been so long since I have posted a comment (anywhere), but felt that I needed to for my old, dear friend. I care so deeply about you and your family, I am so sorry for your loss....losing loved ones around the holidays is so hard for us all. You're in my thoughts and prayers!

I know closing your web site is another really difficult decision. I don't think most folks know what hard work goes in to it. It is a constant challenge to get new things made and keep it updated.

Hugs, hugs and more hugs,
Shari

Diane, my thoughts and prayers are certainly with you and your family during this time of loss. My heart dropped to the floor as I was reading your post. Always remember that God is with you and your family and will help you take care of the burdens and heavy hearts that you are feeling now. He is so good and in time your heart will feel like it can beat again.

I am sorry to hear that you are closing your web site, but thankful that you will be continuing to blog.

Hugs and prayers as you and your family begin the new year.
