Birthday droop

July 8th was my 45th birthday and I must say its got me kinda down I don't want to get old and crippled up I will go kicking and screaming all the way.. Why does age
effect us so much.. heck I remember 21 like it was just a couple of years ago.. What the heck happened.. I BLINKED.... My kids are grown, my grandbabies are growing like
weeds and people are dying all around me.. This makes me want to start my bucket list
for sure...there is so many things I've yet to see and do.. but yet I seem to be
speeding up with momentum towards the grave... If its a roller coaster I want off now... I feel like for the most part my life has gone by uneventful...(SIGH)

Happy Birthday, girl!
Geesh, You're still a youngster...age is only a number!!! I don't know why we let it get to us...we all do it from time to time. Cheer up--you're healthy, very talented and you're a beauty @ 45 ;)

Have a Happy day
((hugs)) Kath

Oh My gosh!- You have to stop thinking this way- I have 10 years on you- age is just a number! it's how you feel that matters! Uneventful? I am sure if you look back you have done plenty of eventful things! You had children- you are a talented crafter and I am sure there is more I don't know about!
Besides with age comes wisdom!!

I know exactly what you mean, I am 43 and just caught a glimpse(LOL) of myself in the mirror, undressed, and I was IN SHOCK!!!! How do body parts sag so quickly and time go by so fast! Well, were all on the rollercoaster together, so nothing we can do but HANG ON, LOL!!!!

Hello. I know what you mean about time passing in the blink of an eye. It seems to go by faster and faster every year. That is why I have vowed to try to slow down and enjoy each day as it comes. Take heart though, you know what they say, "Life doesn't really begin until after 40 anyway!" I hope your day gets better. Blessings to you.

Oh honey, I hope ye are feeling better by now. I think that the feeling of LOSS is getting you down, and yes, as we age, so many loved ones and famous ones seem to depart this earth too soon. It is upsetting.

Has yr life seemed too uneventful? Well, it is hard to look back and it all seems bland, no grand adventures, but you are STILL IN THE GAME, and just think of how you have raised kids and without you, those precious grandbabies would not even exist!!! and I think we have some very hard times coming, and more adventure than any of us care for is just around the corner!

Hang in there and Happy Belated B'day!

Happy Belated Birthday, Diane! I think we all feel like this sometimes, especially around Birthdays and Anniversaries! I hope by now you are feeling better. Just stop for a minute and really think about what you have accomplished in your short 45 years.....I'm sure it's more than you think! Age really IS only a number! There's a lot more waiting out there for you!

We all love you, Diane and we appreciate all that you have done for us.
Hugs,
Shari

Happy Birthday! {LATE} I understand feeling this way. My only son is getting married at the end of August and it feels like so much of my life I know now is ending. BUT>>>> I have tied to male it my motto through all of this to "Enjoy EVERY Moment"!!!! It is hard alot of the time. I too feel like my life has slipped away and is slipping away, so I try to look for the positives coming my way...I am going to have a daughter! WooHOO! Take care!
